Freelance Graphic Design for Toronto's Financial Industry
SAVE YOUR MARKETING BUDGET!
Outsource those tedious, recurring design tasks to someone who really knows your brand. Don't blow your marketing budget on an expensive in-house designer. I have a plan for you.
I'm a freelance graphic designer from Toronto helping marketing managers complete their design overflow without hiring another in-house designer.
Hi, I’m Sebastian and I’ve been designing effective print and online marketing pieces for the financial industry for over 15 years.
That’s a long time in one industry! But during that time, I’ve learned how vital it is to craft, design and communicate a clear message to your target audience. In the financial industry, clarity trumps cleverness.
Some financial products can be difficult to understand. I help your customers by designing marketing pieces which are easy to grasp so they can make informed decisions. I also update your old marketing materials across your company's many business lines.
I work happily in a MAC environment and your files are transferred securely through FTP. I'm also HR department-friendly because I’m incorporated meaning there's less liability for both parties. Woohoo! - a legal win-win.
Call me when you have a project in mind. I’d be happy to help – 416-999-7096.
Scotiabank has been a great client for a number of years. I helped to produce a large number of direct marketing and sponsorship pieces which the bank used to acquire new business, promote their events and to communicate to their existing customers.
They have a great team over there which helps to make Scotiabank a true leader when it comes to marketing and sponsorships in the financial industry. It's always exciting to see what they'll come up with next.
Toronto’s Second Harvest is an organization which rescues unused surplus food from businesses and delivers it to community agencies throughout the GTA. They have food collection trucks driving around picking up food that would have otherwise gone to waste, then preparing that foods into delicious, nutritious meals to feed the city’s less fortunate. This is made possible by generous donations and a network of volunteers. How awesome is that!
As for my design involvement with the company, I have produced annual reports, signage and recipe books for their annual Toronto Taste event, as well as event photography since 2011. Looking forward to working with this fantastic team again in the years to come.

DMX Plastics has grown significantly since I began working with them in 2004. They manufacture high-end foundation wrap for homes and underlayment for hardwood floors and basements. You can now find their product in Home Depot.
Throughout the years, I have helped create their magazine ads, trade show material, product brochures, illustrations and product photography.
Spirichi offers a different approach to weight management. They focus on why you eat, rather than what you eat and is creating quite the buzz in the weight loss industry.
I designed and produced their marketing material for upcoming trade shows and current marketing campaigns. If you are interested in weight management, just give them a ring.
McFarlan Rowlands is one of the largest independent insurance brokerages in Canada. The company's roots can actually be traced back to 1896!
Over the past 5 years, I have designed their corporate and product brochures, billboards and magazine ads. If you're from the London, Ontario area – you may have seen a few of the billboards yourself.
For myself, logos are a barrel of fun to create. I have found that a quality logo requires time, research and skill. Also, as the old saying goes – too many cooks (or judges) spoil the broth, so keep that in mind when it's time to choose your new logo.
Here are some logos I have created for my clients. Call me at 416-999-7096 when you need a new logo or to update your current logo.
Business Cards and Letterheads
There are so many printing and finishing options for business cards these days. In short – if you're not proud to hand out (or show off) your own business card, you should definitely consider having it professionally redesigned. Cards that stand out are simply great for business. Here are some of the available options:
• thick, uncoated paper stock • painted edges • spot UV • matte laminate • die cut • laser die cut (can be very intricate) • foil stamp • emboss • various textured paper • fused paper (two different paper colours fused together)
Think you're ready for an upgrade? Call me at 416-999-7096.

I created a logo and identity that would establish the overall essence of the brand with it's target customers in mind. They wanted to go with a slightly fancier look so we chose Classic Columns paper (paper with vertical lines as texture) for their business cards, letterheads and envelopes.
Their 16-page product brochure had to be printed on a lightweight coated paper stock to keep the shipping costs down.
Matt and Ben
Matt and Ben are some of the best real estate agents in Toronto, if not the country. After they quickly sold my home and found me a new one for less than asking in a highly sought after neighbourhood, I really can't endorse them enough.
I designed their monthly newsletter which was folded into four panels and mailed to targeted areas in the city. Throughout the years, I have also designed their flyers, business cards and sales brochures.
The lovely ladies at Pink Twig came to me for their logo and overall branding design. I designed their brand to the hip, modern tone of their trendy College Street location in Toronto. With their cheerful spirit, it's no wonder they have developed such a loyal customer base throughout the city.
Macquarie Group is a global financial institution which began in Australia. I had the pleasure of designing and producing their holiday invites which included a foil stamped snowflake on all three pieces.
The Town of Oakville hired me to take photographs for their Sustainable Living report which showcased Oakville's best examples of the "going green" movement within the city. Over 250 finished photographs were produced.
